In light of the recent news regarding the allegations leveled at a former board member of Farmington Pet Adoption Center, we feel the need to make our own statement regarding this to Midwest Community Cat Alliance’s many friends and generous supporters and sponsors. The person in question was also a board member for MCCA during that time but has since resigned from MCCA and is no longer involved in any of our rescue efforts.

We want to make it very clear that any donations you made to MCCA on behalf of the many community cats we have helped save and find rescue for over these past several years were always spent and applied appropriately and were not used for any other purpose than to save those cats. We know this latest news may have brought with it questions about this and we want to set the record straight that your donations have and will always be used solely for vetting and rescue of the local cats that come under our care.

We also want to thank you for your very generous donations over the last several years. Without you, we could not have saved the number of cats we did and sent them off to live better and healthier lives. We hope you will continue to support our efforts and know that we are still committed to serving our community cats as best we can.

Very sincerely,
Midwest Community Cat Alliance, Inc.
